The approach to the unfired harbour is without problems and is best recommended during the day.

Berths

Moorings by arrangement with the harbour master. A uniform harbour fee applies to all boat sizes and is deposited in the clubhouse letterbox.

Surroundings

There is no other supply except for the usual harbour standard. From Doverodde Købmandsgård there is a bus several times a day to Hurup, the southern main town of Thisted municipality. There a nice pedestrian zone with a good selection of specialty shops awaits the customers.

NV Land Guide

For several hundred years there was an agricultural trading centre with England here. Therefore, a landing stage with a merchant's yard existed already since 1848, which today functions as an experience centre and allows a unique view into the time. Cultural-historical interesting are the up to 8000 years old coastal slopes at the stone age. Here you will also find one of the largest collections of burial mounds in Denmark. From the nearby grain silo you have a beautiful view of the harbour and surroundings.
