Description

Fecamp is a town located in the middle between Dieppe and Le Havre. It is known for its fishing, commercial and pleasure port which is accessible all the time. Fécamp has been named a city of art and history by the French Ministry of Culture.

Navigation

Access can be tricky when there are gales coming in from the sea. It is easiest to enter 30 minutes before Full Tide if there are strong winds. Access to the pool is open 2 hours before until Full Tide.

Berths

There are 900 berths, of which 75 are reserved for visitors. The reception is on the visitor pontoon (Pontoon C) in the outer harbour.

Strong cross-setting currents at the entrance. Passage to the inner basin is restricted not only by the tidal gate but also by a bridge. Bridge control (ch 09) speaks only French. Marina staff (also ch 09) was helpful with translation.
