Port du Grand Large - Marina near Dunkerque

Description

The port city of Dunkirk is located not far from the border of Belgium. The western part of the port is forbidden to boaters, however there are also several basins in the eastern port, so one is the Port du Grand Large.

The harbour is accessible all the time. In the outer harbour, there can be strong northerly winds. Care should be taken with merchant ships in the port of Dunkirk. When entering the port, it is important to contact Dunkerque VTS VHF 73 before sailing too much in the port.

Berths

There are 250 places in this basin, of which 25 places are reserved for visitors. Mooring is done on floating pontoons, however mooring is prohibited on breakwater. Mooring is done outside the channels.

There is a telephone and 24 hour security on site.
