Sport boat harbour located in the north of Styrsö directly on the fairway

Navigation

The port is not fired, it can still be approached day and night. Coming from the south, the green buoy at the Svarta Båden fire in the fairway between Vargö and Styrsö must remain to starboard. On the other side of the buoy, the depth is only a good 1 metre. If one should come at night from eastern direction, one notes the beacon at the northwest headland of Styrsö. It lies actually in the white fire sector. The approach between Vargö and St. Känsö does not have a white sector - you must be on the bearing between the red and green sectors. There is current running in the sound from different directions, but usually at low speed.

Berths

You moor off stern anchors and on buoys at a floating bridge on the northern side of Styrsö. The water depth is 2 - 5m, good shelter in all wind directions except northwest. The harbour is choppy due to heavy boat traffic.

There are regular ferry connections to Gothenburg.
