Navigation

A designated channel leads from the Lippe approach buoy into the harbor. The channel has a strong tendency to silting up and is frequently dredged (shallow depths of less than 1 m are possible). Ships with a greater draught should check the current situation with the harbour master beforehand. In strong onshore winds, entering and leaving the harbor is temporarily impossible. The port is also inaccessible from the sea during shooting times.

Surroundings

The nearest shopping facilities are in the town of Hohwacht, 2 km away. There is a snack bar and the restaurant "Klabautermann" at the harbor.

NV Land Guide

The area surrounding the harbor, with the large and small inland lakes and plenty of rural idylls, is perfect for long walks. The cozy Klabautermann restaurant, which is housed in a typical Holstein thatched-roof house, is located right by the harbour. Regional specialties from the sea are served here. In addition to the beautiful natural beach, there is also a campsite with a kiosk.

In the Baltic seaside resort of Hohwacht, 2 km to the south, there is an Edeka supermarket where you can buy everything you need. There are also various hotels and restaurants as well as extensive sandy beaches and a golf course.

Hafeneinfahrt ist in einem sehr s schlechten Zustand. Die Pfähle sind teilweise verrottet. An den Schwimmstegen wächst das Gras. Toiletten+Duschen gibt es nur auf dem Campingplatz. ** Nur als Nothafen zu empfehlen **

Einfahrt in den Hafen mit 1,65m TG war (nun?) problemlos, wenn man von der Ansteuerungstonne direkt auf die Einfahrt zu hält, +1,40m (!) unter Kiel am 29.7. Scheinbar recht frisch gebaggert. Im Zweifel versandet lt. Dritten später eher nördlicher Molenkopf, also 1-2 Schiffslängen vorher auf Bagger-Seite wechseln und langsam fahren; am besten im Zweifel vorher HM kontaktieren.

Nach Absprache mit Hafenmeister 1,60 kein Problem, leider der Hafenmeister hat keine Ahnung, mal schauen wie hoch sind die schaden

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Hafen, sind hier am 30.03.21 mit 1,45m Tiefgang rein und am Folgetag wieder raus gekommen. Bei der Ansteuerung erst einmal sehr weit Backbord halten und auf keinen Fall mit Gegenverkehr versuchen. Hatten vor dem Ausbaggern 1,65m (mittig) und 1,95m Wassertiefe.

Tiefe war bei uns auch nur 1,2m und es haben mehrere Segler nicht in den Hafen geschafft. ABER: ein schöner kleiner Hafen mit einem tollen Restaurant "Klabautermann". Am Samstag mit Livemusik im Hafen.

Achtung die Einfahrt ist stark versandet! Die Tiefe in der Einfahrt liegt gegenwärtig bei 1,3 Meter!!! Stand: 30.05.2020
